    Electric Double Girder Crane End Carriage


    1. Structural design
    Box-type structure: usually steel plates are welded into a box-type structure to ensure high strength and rigidity, and effectively carry the load transmitted by the main beam.

    Modular design: The end beam is often connected to the main beam by bolts, which is convenient for transportation, installation and later maintenance, and meets the needs of different spans.

    Open layout: The open design makes the internal walking mechanism of the end beam (such as wheel set, motor) easier to repair and reduce the difficulty of maintenance.


    2. Functional components
    Traveling mechanism integration: including motor, reducer, brake and wheel set, driving the crane to run along the track. Common three-in-one drive form, compact structure.

    Safety device: equipped with buffer (rubber or polyurethane) to absorb collision energy, limit switch to prevent overtravel, ensure safe operation.

    Track adaptability: wheel tread matches the track (such as QU track), some designs contain horizontal wheels to enhance the ability to resist eccentric load.


    3. Materials and processes
    Steel selection: Q235B or low alloy steel is mostly used. Cast steel (ZG270-500) may be used for key parts (such as wheel bearing seats) to improve durability.

    Surface treatment: Anti-rust paint or epoxy resin is applied after sandblasting to enhance corrosion resistance and extend service life.


    4. Drive mode
    Separate drive: The end beams on both sides are driven by independent motors, with high requirements for synchronous control, reducing the need for traditional drive shafts and simplifying the structure.


    5. Application advantages
    Strong bearing capacity: The design takes into account the main beam load and dynamic load coefficient, and is suitable for large tonnage (such as 10t to hundreds of tons) and large span conditions.
